Not where I thought I would be but so where I need to be.

A lot has changed since I have last used this blog. I am no longer with Christian. We called off our engagement October 31 and officially broke up and stopped trying to work it out mid January. We have mutual respect for each other still but both know for the moment that its best we called it off. It was definitely hard to get use to at first even though I tried so hard to be strong about it and act like it didn't bother me. I was extremely hurt about the whole situation but who wouldn't be? The way we ended it on October 31st were definitely interesting but we wont go into that. At times I miss him but I think I miss the old him that truly loved me unconditionally. When we were good we were great. But then we became like fire and gasoline and you know those two don't mix. He is a great person and I wish the best for him. I know it was for the best and God was looking out for both of us. I guess in the end we weren't meant for each other and its better to find out now rather than later.
I try to not let it hurt when I get calls, emails or even mail about reminders of my wedding I would have had. Even though the planning was becoming very stressful we pretty much had it planned and were getting help from family and friends. Now I'm more sad that I am the only single one of my really close friends in Arlington. They are either married or will be married by the end of this year. Its selfish but I want that too.

BUT that's not in the cards for me this year so I'm going to have to just take this as a life lesson.

Now my focus is to finish up my Respiratory Therapy program and to just have fun again. Living here in San Antonio that can be hard at times because people here are just so different from friends and family back home. People back home definitely cherish friendships a little more than here.

I have been blessed to find a few fun friends from my RT program. Some of them sure are crazy and are definitely fun to hang out with and know how to cheer me up.

I'm hoping to make lasting friendships but eventually end up back where my heart its in Arlington or maybe move to Georgia or South Carolina

I have recently decided its time to move on and start having FUN. so i will share a few of my craziness with the rest of the world. :)
Time for a fresh start and new attitude. So you just watch out!! I'm coming for ya!

The very night we broke up. I had no clue it was coming here!

The Brand NEW me with a whole new attitude.

Parents Night Out!

So as most know I babysit on the side from school and work to make a little extra money. Well I have been wanting to do a Parents Night Out for a long time now but never got around to actually doing it. The opportunity came up for me to do it this Friday so I decided to do it. That morning I was a little worried that I would only babysitting 2 kids, one being my little brother but that all changed by 3pm. It went from 2 to 7!! I was not worried I wouldn't be able to handle 7 kids but I decided to get back up anyways. So my fiancĂ©e Christian came to the rescue! He is really good with the little ones. We had a lot of fun. We played Red Light Green Light, Duck Duck Goose, Simon says, we did a little craft, played Wii, and of course played with the many toys we have in the play room. I would totally do it again I got good sleep and didn't have to work early the next morning. I took a lot of great pictures on my moms camera but they wont download. We figured it out that somehow the setting on her camera got changed but sadly it was AFTER I took the pictures. So hopefully we can get them downloaded another way somehow. Here is a few that I took on my camera.

It was so cute. She would give one to Finley and then she would eat one.

Kaysen pushed Kaidon for a good 20 minutes around the house

His "cheese face"

So I have heard Finley doesn't hold a bottle. Im not sure I believe it seeing as she held it for me. :)

She would not smile or look at me any time i picked up the camera. I tricked her and at least got her to look at me. She was such a big help that night. She let me know everything Lucas was doing.

He was to quick all night for me to take a picture

Showing me the cell phone he found

Caught her taking pictures of all the kids. It was to cute!

Take me out to the ball game!

My friend Cathy invited me and Christian out to the San Antonio Missions game. We weren't sure we were going to be able to make it but we did! It was such a nice day all day until I had to go pick up Christian from his house. There was a very dark cloud hanging over San Antonio. Luckily Cathy told me to bring my umbrella because it was much needed later. The humidity was ridiculous. It was so hot and sweaty. Even the rain didn't help cool it down. We were in line for beer when it started pouring down. More than half of the people that were there left in the first 5 minutes of the rain. We still got our snacks and beer and then found shelter under the covered area. It rained for a good while. We still stayed. After the rain stopped and they started the game it was all good from there. We had good seats and of course had more fun talking to each other than actually watching the game. I didn't get to many pictures that day and because it was hot and sweaty Cathy didn't let me take any pictures of her and the ones I do have I'm not sure she would like me posting.
It was a fun late night.

Look how small the beer looks in Christians hand compared to my hand

Another one of Cathy. This is the best I got of her that night.

Certified!

Today I had to get certified in CPR. My program director told us that it was going to be a long day. That we would be there from 8 to 4 but luckily he was wrong and we were out early. My mom had invited me to go with her to go tubing but I turned her down since she was already on her way and I really needed to study. Well needless to stay I decided to start a blog so I didnt get much studying done. I am glad I didnt go since it seemed to be a not so smooth tubing trip. I did get a call from my mom telling me about her bad tubing experience. When I saw her she was limping into the house. So I played doctor and took care of her. When she went to bed I watched Lucas, gave him a bath and got him ready for bed. I took a photo but he wasnt to happy to take photos since he knew it was his bed time.

Everyone else is actually paying attention and Im trying to take photos without my flash going off

The instructor is actually my stepdads old boss

He is thinking "really? another picture! Its bed time woman!"

"alright this is all you get"

Day at the Gruene

So today was a fun day. It started off with Christian giving me flowers. I love when I get flowers from him. Then we decided to meet up with my moms friend Amy in Gruene and then head to Canyon Lake. I went picture crazy so I tried to condense the photos into collages. We saw some funny signs. Me and my mom got some crazy thick cute flip flops. We didn't stay at the actual lake for long but we did go.Then we went to play Mini Golf. It was fun watching Lucas grab the balls and put them into the whole instead of actually hitting them. And afterward we enjoyed a good game of Mexican Train. The photos we took wont load onto my computer so I cant share them. But they were cute!

Of course Lucas is not looking.

To cool with his Shades

Love this picture I took of my mom

What a day!

Today I woke up early to go to a friends Boot camp. It was a really good 30 min work out. Nearly passed out from the intensity. After that I went home to find Lucas and my mom bringing in a easel. Lucas knew what to do right away. I decided to take a mini nap before work. Yeah that didnt happen. But when I came back downstairs I witnessed my baby brother enjoying the milk from his cereal. He sure does love milk!
He also LOVES to pick peoples scabs. I have had a little bump on my knee for years. My brother is determined to pick it off. He laughs and smiles when he does it too!
So off to work I went! Right after work I called my mom to see if we were going to dinner. Dinner plans didnt happen but she was really wanting some Hatch Chilies. So I went all the way to Central Market for her chilies. You would have thought I have never seen fruits and vegetables if you had saw me in there. I was amazed with a few things they had in their. I didnt take to many pics because people where looking at me like I was crazy. :)
After that I went straight home dropped off the groceries and then babysitting I went. I had a good night with two sweet little girls. When I got home I so enjoyed my bed. Its so comfortable!
The Church the bootcamp was at

Do you see the devilish enjoyment the gets picking my scab.
